GAMING

  • What is the table fee?

    Table fees at Sip & Conquer grant you access to our extensive collection of board games, with the freedom to indulge in as many games as you wish!

    Pricing

    1.5 hour session: £4.50pp

    3 hour session: £9pp

    Please note that gaming admission is limited to 3 hours. Additional hours can be added subject to availability.

  • What games do you have?

    We have an extensive collection of over 350 board games, from card games to tabletop games and everything in between.

  • What is a Games Master?

    A Games Master is on hand to teach you games, get the group involved and suggest the best games depending on your group’s size and our interests!

    Our Games Masters generally hang out on evenings and weekends, but all our staff know their stuff, so you’re always in good hands.

FOOD & DRINK

  • What food and drink do you serve?

    You can check out our food and drink menus here.

  • Can we bring our own food and drink?

    No, you can’t bring in your own food or drink. Only food and drinks purchased at Sip & Conquer can be consumed in our venue.

  • Can we eat / drink in the café without playing games?

    Of course! At peak times, it’s likely that our tables will be taken up by gamers, but please pop in and we will do our best to fit you in!

  • Do you cater to allergies?

    If you have any allergies or dietary requirements that we should know about, please do let us know. Please note that whilst we take every reasonable precaution when catering for guests with allergies, food is prepared in a space where allergens may be present, so we cannot 100% guarantee no cross-contamination.

  • Do you offer takeaways?

    Yes! Our delicious Area 51 coffee, as well as our selection of pastries and snacks, are all available to take away.

OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF

  • Are children allowed?

    Yes! Sip & Conquer is a family friendly venue. Bring your kids, bring your nan, bring the dog!

    We ask that children under the age of 14 are accompanied by an adult. 14-18 year olds are only permitted in the venue until 9pm. No under 18s after 9pm, sorry!

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We are a cashless venue and accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

  • Are you accessible?

    Yes, we are fully accessible, including our bathroom, and there are no steps in our venue. 

    Our bathroom is gender-neutral.

  • Do you have parking?

    We don’t have our own car park, but there are several parking options within a few minutes’ walk of us. West Street Car Park is just behind the board game café, and the next-nearest car park is in Sainsbury’s, the Hines Meadow Car Park, off Saint-Cloud Way.

  • Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?

    Yes! We are proudly queer-owned and hope to bring a safe space for all LGBTQIA+ people to Maidenhead. If you have any specific questions or concerns, or are interested in joining our LGBTQIA+ gaming group, please get in touch!
